“ Yats is consistently my favorite forgotten stop. Every time we go, I’m mad at myself for skipping over it too often. We ordered an entree to split, 1/2 drunken chicke & 1/2 white chicken chili, and extra bread with a fountain drink and it was the perfect quick lunch before heading shopping. ”

“ A friend of mine recommended this place years ago and today, we finally made it! I ordered the Chorizo Etouffee with chicken and the better half ordered the Drunken Chicken. The order came out in less time than it actually took us to order it, and I realized that was par for the steady stream of customers they had coming in and going out while we were there. The etouffee was flavorful and spicy with a nice amount of meat and rice, I was happy to discover it wasn't a plate full of rice!! The bread that came with the meal was delicious - someone said Old Bay?! Count me as a fan! Price was right, service was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was cajun/NO enough for me! Would definitely visit again!! I also enjoyed the something different than the usual fare around town! ”

“ My boyfriend went to the one in Carmel and told me I'd like their food. We came here today. Upon entering, you're greeted by a tantalizing smell. We walked to the counter and looked at the menu. After a minute, we were greeted by a gentleman who told us more about the menu. Since we couldn't decide, he went into the back and came back with 4 small samples of each menu item. ALL of them were SO good, but my 2 favorites were the drunken chicken and the red beans and sausage. My boyfriend and I ended up getting a pint of the drunken chicken and some extra bread. I'm eating as I write this. I will definitely be back to try some red beans and rice, and hopefully, they have some gumbo next time I come in. The gentleman working the counter was super friendly. The bread is SO good. ”
